Willkommen in der Weite der Savanne wo Ordnung Planung und ein Hauch Chaos über Erfolg entscheiden. Savannah Park ist ein elegantes Puzzle und Legespiel das ruhige Schönheit mit spannender Interaktion verbindet. Du gestaltest deinen eigenen Wildpark mit dem Ziel Tiere ihrer Art entsprechend zu gruppieren und harmonische Herden zu formen. Doch jede Entscheidung wird von der gesamten Runde beeinflusst und genau darin liegt der Reiz.
Alle Spielenden starten mit identischen Sets aus 33 einzigartigen Tierplättchen die zufällig im eigenen Park verteilt sind. Freiflächen aus Bäumen Gras Buschfeuern und Felsen strukturieren das Spielfeld und bleiben teils dauerhaft unbesetzt. Runde für Runde bestimmt jeweils eine Person welches offenliegende Tier alle aufnehmen und verdeckt an einen neuen freien Platz bewegen müssen. Einmal gedreht bleibt ein Tier für den Rest des Spiels fixiert. Schritt für Schritt verdichtet sich der Park und jede Bewegung will wohlüberlegt sein.
Nach dem letzten Zug folgt eine vielschichtige Wertung. Tiere in der Nähe von Buschfeuern können verloren gehen wenn ihre Anzahl mit der Feuerstärke übereinstimmt. Offene Baum und Grasflächen bringen wertvolle Punkte. Den grössten Einfluss haben jedoch die Herden. Für jede der sechs Tierarten zählt die Grösse der grössten zusammenhängenden Gruppe multipliziert mit der Anzahl enthaltener Wasserstellen. Wer seine Tiere klug platziert und Risiken kontrolliert wird reich belohnt.
Savannah Park überzeugt durch seine klare Struktur und die immer neue Herausforderung die sich aus den Entscheidungen der anderen ergibt. Der Solomodus bietet ein entspanntes aber forderndes Erlebnis für ruhige Momente. Variable Aufstellungen von Buschfeuern und Bäumen sowie alternative Wertungen sorgen für Abwechslung und hohen Wiederspielwert.
